[A little girl is standing on the wall, looking out over the city. She’s oblivious to the PCD, a frown on her face. Clearly she’s displeased with what she sees, and gradually the expresssion grows darker and darker.]
[Without a word she starts to walk away, small hands clenched in fists at her side, expression intent and angry.]

[Something's very wrong and it's not just this place or Tyki's hair. Everything she's heard by now adds up to wrong wrong wrong. And Tyki is acting too upset for the situation, nothing's right at all and she's confused beyond belief.]
[But it's Tyki all the same, she can't mistake the feel of family, and that relaxes her a little, small hands reaching up to pat his back. There there, I'm here, I'll make it okay. Even if she doesn't know what's upset him, she'll fix it.]

[Good lord. She's here. What was it she said before? No one had a right to do this? Something like that. Tyki inhales a little, shaky, and finally draws away to brush her hair out of her eyes.]
[He doesn't have the Exorcism scars, you know.]
[Grinning. Okay, bearings gathered.] My, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you've grown an inch. [Not really. But it sounds like the right thing to say.]

Tyki. [We were just together. You were just with me. And now what is going on?]

... what have they told you? [Because he hasn't been paying too much attention.]

That the Animus are all powerful spirits who brought us here, and space and time are warped a bit, and something about different worlds. And that I was here before and a lot of people know me but I don't remember them, Tyki.
[That bothers her. It reminds her of the damaged memories, of the 14th.]

Neither the Ark, nor the Boss are here. [A pause, and he uses his free hand to continue to stroke her hair out of her face. Not that she really needs it, he just likes having something to do with his hands.] You were here before me, and then were sent back.
[He's about to add, "I don't know why you were brought back again" to it, but doesn't. Instead, he leans forward a little to press his forehead against hers. A silent invitation to peek into his head? Possibly. As if it should help to explain how the space-time continuum is warped without having to put forth the effort.]
[Or, perhaps, it's just easier if she figures it out on her own.]

I'm not going away. [She promises softly, angry, upset, confused by the memories he doesn't have of back home, and all the memories he does have of this place. That's all wrong.]

Perish the thought. [His tone is just as soft, resigned.] At the very least, we will be going back to Le Chateau Kamelot. [Wink.] Cyril would have my heart on a platter if you caught cold.

Papa's busy with the Bookmen. [She says it absently.] You can show me my room though~ [But she'll probably sleep with Tyki tonight.]

Of course. Shall we?

[She tightens her grip on him a moment.] Ready! [You get to carry her.]

We'll take the scenic route. I'm sure the giant squid has missed you. [But of course.]

Giant squid?

[Which is in view, just over a hill. He offers her a mischievous sort of grin, and passes through a fence. His pace slows a little as he saunters over the surface of the water. See the tentacle breaking the surface, just over there?]
