Made in Adobe Photoshop 7.0, is 100% translatable

Step 1:
Open your picture, crop it and sharpen once



Step 2:
Duplicate your base twice, set the first layer to Soft Light 100% and the second layer to Screen 100%



Step 3:
Create a new Hue/Saturation Layer [layer > new adjustment layer > hue/saturation] and up the saturation to +30



Step 4:
Create a new Color Balance Layer [layer > new adjustment layer > color balance] and use the following settings:
Midtones: -100 | -16 | -51
Shadows: +28 | -18 | -18
Be sure that Preserve Luminosity is checked



Step 5:
Create a new layer [Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N], floodfill it with #FFD7F2 and set it to Color Burn 100%



Step 6:
Create a new layer [Ctrl+Alt+Shift+N], floodfill it with #B6F2FF and set it to Color Burn 75%



And you are done! You can add text/brushes to your liking ^_ ^
If your icon turns out too orange, lower the saturation/Soft Light layer or delete the Soft Light layer
