Oh, I love it! Very crisp and concise, telling just enough to get you really interested in seeing the movie without give away too much, exactly as a good trailer should! ;) (As a matter of fact, I may have to break out the ol' VHS tape and give it another watching now... ;) )

LOL up until a few months ago, I was getting my original Trek kicks via worn out VHS tapes as well. Finally decided to go for an update.

I find that Star Trek VI is perhaps the most underrated of the Trek movies. It's a fantastic story, very appropriate to the times, and a great show by all our favorite actors. In fact, I'd say it's one of the easiest movies to watch if you're not a Trek fan. All you need to know going in is really "Klingons = Bad Guys."

Thanks! And do watch the film, it's very exciting. I don't know if you've seen the other original movies but 2, 4 and 6 are phenomenal. 3 is also enjoyable as part of a continuous story.

O Captain! My Captain! so happy to see him back where he belongs. lol.

This was a great trailer - I wanna see the movie again now! and the audio mixing was terrific. As usual you don't see where the music is from, but it was a great accompaniment to the video.

Thanks and oh you should definitely rewatch it. It was SO wonderful to see the old films again after so long (well...III and VI anyway, I watch II and IV all the time lol).

The music info is all on my site. I don't know what productions they've been used for in the past but it's a mix of 3 different tracks by the company Brand X :*)

Oh you totally should. I bought the entire original series and film collection for my father this past Christmas and more or less immediately repossessed them for my own viewing pleasure. I've rewatched the series two times now and the movies even more. Well...the good ones anyway. Not too crazy about films I and V but the others are wonderful. Found a new copy of the collection through a deal on ebay or half too so it was pretty cheap.

I recommend collecting the DVDs lol. It's well worth it, these are classics!

Oh and thanks, it's great to hear that the trailer moved you. I almost cried watching the end of the movie itself...Kirk's final narration where he gives the "final frontier" bit but instead says that soon a new generation will be taking their place....ugh, too much nostalgia all at once!
