It still amazes me how much talent and creativity we have among our icon makers. Let's hope next years winner's gallery is just as impressive.

Amen to that! Is it okay to use some of these winners' icons if credit is given? I see some amazing ones that I haven't seen before, so I'd be interested. ♥

I'm always so thankful that there's such an active TLU community.

Yes it is okay to use them. Part of why the naming format was used was so if someone wanted to use a particular icon they would know who to credit.

I am glad that we are a truly active community with members who always surprise us with their creations. I'm always a little saddened to see the other last unicorn communities so quite and that's part of why I post my icons in batches.

I've saved every single icon that has ever been entered in the weekly contests, not just the winners (let me tell you it's a lot of icons).

The winner's gallery is nice because we know sometimes icon maker's have to move where they post icons or they delete the file altogether. With this we can at least offer up the first place winners for as long as the community's photobucket account holds out.

It's so amazing to go through the icons like this and see all of the creativity! It's just amazing to see the variety of colours and styles that have been used.
