Ah I don’t think that doing this little experiment is mean. But then again it’s something I would do. And considering how I am viewed….perhaps it is. *shrugs*

I hope that your bond with him does strengthen with how close both you and he are with your mum, it’s only healthy.

As for the Arkham game…It is awesome : ) If you like the game play and want a more simplistic version, the video game rendition of the first batman movie has a similar control premises (though in my opinion it is less complex).

I'm fine with the gameplay thanks, though mum had issues with using both joysticks when I got her to have a go.

I'm much more interested in Arkham Asylum because a) it is for the PS3 b) it is based in the comicverse rather than the filmverse c) it has the voices from the animated series and is written by Paul Dini d) it is full of villains.

Lol, I would do an experiment like that for sure. And...how can you hate ALL fiction? That is one of the BIGGEST blanket statements I've ever heard! It's all different! WTF? Do keep us informed, lol.

What did you think of Harry Potter? I haven't seen it yet.

Everything he says is a blanket statement.

I don't think he's checked either of them out yet but I'll have to ask mum for extra details later! He does put his feet on the table though and I noticed his feet getting awfully close to Ulysses.......

Harry Potter was okay. I'm not really a HP fan but I go with mum because she is. She didn't really like it because it didn't have a proper quest like the others. I have to admit it did kind of amble though it was short for a HP film. I thought there would be more about the Half Blood Prince (I haven't read the books so I don't know if there is a lot about him) but it was mostly about Harry trying to get info on Tom / Voldermort, Draco joining the Death Eaters and many love triangles. It didn't feel like any of the different storylines were properly resolved. I guess there are lots of characters and a single film just isn't long enough for them all anymore. It was still an enjoyable watch though - better than Bruno XD
