Death note isn’t so bad. As for the other mangas, I donno what to tell you. Let me know what you think :P
Anyways am sure you will get on fine with them. You have an awesome broad span of taste in manga and music. So I am sure you’ll get ppl hooked on something.
Below is a small list of artist you may already know or if not may like:
Someone you may admire is Yōko Kanno, an awesome composer who knows her stuff. You may want to look into her stuff
Another person you may like and may like to introduce to your friends is Utada Hikaru. Her stuff is lighthearted…something am sure most ppl don’t think I’d listen to.
And I suppose we shouldn’t forget Crystal Kay. I bet you couldn’t believe that she was born and raised in Yokohama Kanagawa Japan. Mommy is Korean and Daddy is an African American from Jersey. Awesome combo no?
Thanks for all the suggestions. Versailles look cool but I don't think the girls will like them if they don't like Malice Mizer.
I have to admit I'm not so good with J-music. I try to like it but...I dunno...I just find a lot of it as just okay. Eg I really want to like Nana Kitade, Kana and a load of other lolita artists...but I just find them okay. I do like the English version of 'Kiss or Kiss' by Nana Kitade though!
Firstly, I am so proud of you for going off to learn Japanese - How much is it, and good on you! Secondly, I love Gackt, and can't believe I've never tried to make you love him - but then, you obviously know him from his earlier stuff (and I can't believe they would snub that, tsk, not real fans!) Thirdly, Vampire Knight is wonderful. If you want to watch the anime, I have it and can send you it with the letter I'm writing, (in fact, I will, regardless of whether you want it) and you can try to enjoy it - one of my favourite anime songs comes from it - Still Doll. I love that song. Anyway! Good on you! *hugs lots* we should meet up soon - I've an idea I'd like to run past you regarding Candy Bar!
