Happiness for the Melancholy

Now I don't normally go for anime fads (eg Naruto or Death Note) however when Neo did its article on 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' I got quite interested and watched some of the episodes on youtube. I love it (and I mean I love it for more than the end dance!) so I ordered the special edition first volume. It was £49.99 but I got it for £29.

Also, that box set sounds AWESOME.

...Although according to google, a pound (lol don't have that symbol on my keyboaaard) is equal to $1.9557, which would make it expensive to me. But worth it for you, apparently!

Yes - I should learn it and do it everyday and finally lose some weight XD

And yeah, the £ is strong compared to the $ at the moment (and has been since George Bush actually) though the second American I lived with (bit of a jerk) constantly hammered into me that though it seems like everything in UK is expensive it is because the price of living is different too so theoretically $1=£1...though I can see where he's coming from I would much prefer to actually have the American prices than the 'relative' prices lol

Aww that was cute. And yes the pop culture blended anime is meh. Though I will confess Death Note was cool, back when I was in HS and we had to translate the manga.

And indeed the $ is weak *rolls eyes* though it is all in the economic cycle. However I am quite curious to see when things bounce back and wonder if we will be alright once more. I get the feeling a small selection of Americans will still be fucked....among other things.
