Well, at first they said that this was all planned from the beginning, then Agent Kelton got closer to the truth too fast, so they had to kill him and apparently, Gale liked the idea very much. Seriously, I doubt that. And then they are talking about him being fired, which is probably the truth IMO. I mean, Gale is very much into politics and has also donated some money to democratic groups, so that that can do much more. And Fox, well, that station is practically the puppy of Bush, so two beliefs kinda clashed there and that's probably why they wanted to get rid of him - and maybe the fact that Gale was "the star" of a gay show for five years. Heh...
