Nutritious and vegetarian!!

I didn't realize the mass quantity of miss information that is floating around the e-net about vegetarian/vegan diets and nutrition.  I know I run into people (meat eaters) who like to make snide remarks about my life style choice.  For the most part, though, I choose to be around people who are intelligent and mindful enough to respect my choices ( Read more... )

I didn't read the whole article because it was annoying!

I'm sorry you had to deal with that loser at Subway. How rude! What the hell is that guy doing in Portland (i.e. hippie capital of the NW)? :)

I have a friend who's vegan and it amazed me at first when I realized how much she *could* eat. Most of the time we end up ordering the same dish when we go out for lunch. I'm not a huge meat-eater when I go out - I don't like any kind of fat or chewy parts on my meat, so I'd rather just eat the veggie option and not worry about it. :)

I do wonder about those that are on the raw food diet. THAT seems almost impossible...so many things they can't eat! It makes my head spin...

The raw food diet is a bit far fetched, however I would never disrespect a person's choice. The only time I hold meat eating against a person happens when they have belittled me with their opinion about my choices.

They published the comment...just so you know. I added my own one too!

I am curious to know who is the person "who shall not be named" :) though.

Hope you don't run into many more of the annoying people like the Subway guy...unfortunately I get it a lot too! Especially in the mid-west.

Sorry for not talking much in the past couple of days...Craig moving has kicked my BUTT and I worked 2 12 hour shifts in there too...so I'll call you tonight, and we'll catch up!

LOVE!
