1. First I'm Hael, and I'm a romance book lover. Actually, I'm a book lover my self. I really don't care if it's fiction or fact just as long as it interests me.
2. I was checking the community romancenovels and your icon grabbed my attention (it's your icon with the "sensation" text) because most posters there don't use romance book cover as their icon, and I assumed that you love romantic books and so eventually I checked here.
3. And what we have in common? I love Paradise which was written by Judith McNaught. hehehe
Hi Hael! Thanks for dropping by! I would LOVE to friend you :] Especially with the book-loving and all. I'm like that too - as long as I like the book, it's fine - and I'm definitely not discriminatory or snobby about books I read and whatnot (you know how it can get).
I love that icon! I'm assuming you've read The Seduction? If you have, what did you think of it? Haha...besides that it's got one of the best covers/stepbacks ever...
Just a warning, there's a lot of stuff in this journal that's not about romance novels (although you will hear me getting very excited about new books or new authors that I've read) :] I mostly review/discuss things pertaining to romance novels on romancenovels.
I LOVE Paradise ♥ It's one of my favorite romance novels. What other romance books/authors do you like?
too bad, I haven't read the book The Seduction who wrote it by the way? Actually, I'm not really a romance book lover before. I used to read books that has to do with laws.
Honestly, I just got hooked in romance novels last Feb. So I'm still-you know-new to this kind of genre. I'm very cautious in selecting books. McNaught was recommended to me, but then as I continue to read her works, I notice that there is a pattern in her stories.
I heard Kleypas and SEP was a good writer. I haven't tried to read their works yet that's why I'm scanning at the romancenovels, to know whose works are worthy to read. Well, since I notice that you usually post your reviews there-I assume that you have read tons of romance novels, maybe you can help me select what romance novel to read? ;)
The Seduction is written by Nicole Jordan. It's pretty good in a guilty pleasure sort of way - very very steamy :]
Actually, I'm also fairly new to romance novels - I started reading them two years ago, and it wasn't really a steady flow of romance novels, it was just some here and there. I started reading them a lot more last summer (mostly Catherine Anderson), and then I couldn't find any good romances at my local library, and I thought it was over for me. It was actually only recently (after I read Judith McNaught's Whitney, My Love in December) that a whole new kind of love for romance arose, and I began searching for more and more romances to read, found romancenovels and off I went. I tend to be a ...can you say this?...a prolific reader, so when I read books, I read A LOT of them. I haven't read as MANY books as you would think :] It's actually very recently that I've heard and read and loved authors like Lisa Kleypas and Julia Quinn
( ... )
Hi! Awhile ago you posted a comment on my journal about using an icon you found at one of the places I've posted them and yes please, go ahead and use it, if you still are or want to or whatever. I've been away for the summer so I'm really really sorry it took me so long to respond. I'd like to be friends too if you remember me or still want to be!
Hi, I'm Vivian! I'm so glad you're not mad that I used your icon for all this time. I thought maybe you were on hiatus so you wouldn't answer and I just really loved that icon ♥ Thank you so much!
I hope you had a great summer! I definitely remember you and even though I don't know much about you besides that you make beautiful icons...so I just friended you! Friend me back? :)
1. I'm Sara, and I'm still sort of a newbie here in LJ (I don't get to post much here though). I'd love to meet new friends. :) I love books and I've just started reading romance books last Christmas. (The first authors I've read we're Julia Quinn and Lisa Kleypas.) On a random note, I am quite hopelessly obsessed with smileys. And NO, I will not stalk or eat or do horrifying, unspeakable things to you or others. :D
1. Haha...I remember a couple years ago when I first began reading romance novels. It was so exciting and overwhelming, so many choices and discovering new authors. You picked good ones, by the way. When I was in my historical phase a year ago (you'll see I go through phases) and discovered Julia Quinn and Lisa Kleypas I was...in Heaven. All those books to read! Sorry, I also ramble a lot :/ And smilies are fine, I use them all the time too!
2. Join romancenovels! I find lots of new books and authors to read there. And Trinh is simply amazing and talented.
3. Definitely romance novels ♥ My personal Kleypas hero favorite is Sebastian St. Vincent, but Dreaming of You was the first Kleypas I read, so Derek Craven has a special place in my heart.
And took a peek at your profile - Everything Magic is love ♥ I fell in love with that song the minute I heard it on the radio.
Nice to meet you and thank you for noticing me! I hope to talk to you more and squee over fictional men and great romance novels.

2. I found your journal through romance_stills, which I'd recently joined, and crazy_in_lost's journal.
3. What we have in common... um, it's safe to say that we both love romance novels?
Okay to friend? :)
