[The feed begins with a bit of rustling and the creaking sounds of a hospital bed as a very restless witch shifts around as best as she can; it's not easy to find a comfortable position to sit in when you have a broken rib, but it's manageable. If you pay close attention, there's a muffled yawn in the background, a result of staying up all night ( Read more... )

[ This very heavily sedated Clow looks over at Yuuko, but don't be fooled - no amount of medication can take away his propensity for wisecracks. ]

I wasn't aware that you were on such intimate terms with members of the geriatric community, Yuuko.

[ yaaawn. He just woke up and is already sleepy, what is this. ]

You've been thinking too much; clearly this is an indication that you're not sleeping enough.

Clearly, you need a mirror, old man.

[And she'll just be over here, staring at you and your 'you haven't had enough sleep' comment. Guess whose fault it is.] And I'd have more sleep if you'd just be quiet for a while, then I wouldn't have to keep watching out for you.

There are no old men in this room, only handsome and youthful ones.

[ looks back at her, slightly confused. Perhaps it's the meds. ] ... I don't understand why you keep feeling as though you have to do that. You acknowledge that you can do nothing to stop me, yet you continue to try to your own detriment.

[ becomes slightly frustrated at this, looking away. ] You know I'd rather you didn't, yet you act as though it's my fault when I point out that you're hurting yourself.

[Her only response to his first comment is a roll of eyes, then she follows suit and turns away as well.]

Even if I can't stop you, that doesn't mean I won't be worried for you, though.

[A pause and a pained sigh, though she isn't just physically hurt. It's a mix of frustration, sadness and other feelings that are hard to describe. In all honesty, she's getting tired of being mad at him, but he doesn't make it any easier for her to change that, either.]

You know, this is pointless. You refuse to understand what I've been telling you all along, and so we end up talking ourselves in circles.

I think you mean "regained consciousness"? reed4context July 2 2009, 00:49:21 UTC
But Ichihara-san, wasn't it your idea to share a room with him?

Reply

No, I meant just that. As in reason and a sense of what's right. :o dreamgranter July 2 2009, 00:58:31 UTC
Yes, but I didn't expect him to behave in such a fashion. I'm sure you have watched his latest endeavor, haven't you?

ah, okay! then it should probably have a pronoun. his conscience reed4context July 2 2009, 01:01:59 UTC
I did. I was as unimpressed as you were.

I don't think it's absolutely necessary, but sure. Thanks, anyway! dreamgranter July 2 2009, 13:55:39 UTC
Washu-san had to chase him back to bed, and Eirin-san has put him under stronger sedatives, even. I'd say unimpressed is putting it mildly.

I was told that the boxes labeled as T V and television would not show anything unless another box for small film reels was attached to it.

Besides that, it really is a pity that a fine lady such as yourself should be wanting for company. You should have stoves people vying for your attention.

Yes, that's the way televisions work; similarly to our devices, there is a network as well, and many different channels. That's why I thought we could improvise~

And you're such a flatterer, Kantarou-san~! Mokona comes visit us quite regularly, but that's about it. I might as well die from boredom~!

That sounds like a wonderful idea, I would love to see what people could do with it. Back home I was quite the fan of the cinema. I used to go every time there was a new film.

I just speak the truth and nothing more! Perhaps I could visit you? It would at least add someone to your list of company.

Ah, is that so? Then I can only hope we will be able to carry my plans out. Perhaps you would enjoy helping with that, even?

That would be lovely, Kantarou-san! ♥

Using the devices that way is a good idea~ My brother and I had been thinking about making a movie a few months ago, but never figured out a plot. Whether it's like a film or a television programme, I think it'd be fun~ Ideas?

My, my; great minds think alike, don't they?

And I say we could do both! A regular programme for regular entertainment, and a movie for a special occasion! In fact, this world is the perfect scenery for a thriller, or even a horror movie~!

They must, they must~

Uwaa~ Scary movies! Good idea!

On that vein, there's going to be a theatrical production of Waiting for Godot put on soon - we should record that with the devices, if people don't see it live! Another special occasion.

What kind of television programmes would be good? Everyone likes soap operas, right?

I know! Maybe if the resident ghosts ever pay us another visit, we could catch them on video and then edit the footage for our movie!

And I hadn't heard about that; it should definitely be broadcast, perhaps as a test runner for our tentative television network!

Also, soap operas would be great, actually. The masses do seem to find them very appealing, somehow~

That's an interesting idea, however, it will have to take a back seat until things calm down.

And speaking of which, how is our favorite 'idiot' doing? I hope he's remaining in bed still.

Well, the chaos seems to be gradually fading away, so perhaps we won't have to wait for too long. I really do need something to keep myself busy with, too~

As for the idiot, he's behaving, I suppose. Then again, it hasn't been long since his last bright idea; just give him time, and he'll probably try something.
