I just got a call from Dana's mom--she's out of surgery; she did just fine! She's in the recovery room, and when she comes out of there, they are moving her to Room 119.

I called Dana's mom to see how her surgery went, and found out it had been postponed to tomorrow afternoon at 4. (Apparently they had a backlog of patients.) So they're going to let her eat tonight!

Her mom's going to bring her phone and her laptop to her, so if she's feeling up to it, we may hear from her.

I talked to danae_b just before she went to sleep, and she says that her surgery is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, sometime between 3 to 5PM.

She was pretty tired, but seemed in fairly decent spirits, considering everything.

Dana called me. They got the results of her tests in, and it's definitely gallbladder. She's going to be admitted to the hospital this afternoon. She doesn't know yet when the surgery will be scheduled.

First of all, and the most important thing:

danae_b called me first thing this AM. I knew it wasn't good, because she never calls that early in the morning. She's been having severe pain in her side, so she was going to the doctor. Well, we've had quite a day today! After breakfast, we went to the gym. The girl told us they had just refilled the pool, and that it had not heated up yet, so we went upstairs and walked on the treadmill for a while, as we watched Ellen.
