I would love to rec a delightful fic I've been reading today. Voices at the Door by rhymer23. It's a beautiful series of vignettes about the friendship between Bilbo and Aragorn, how they met and how their friendship developed over the years that Bilbo dwelt in Rivendell

I saw that on AO3 and have really enjoyed it! The premise makes so much sense, too -- it's wonderful when an author figures out and explores a connection that no one else has (at least that I've seen).

Also loved rhymer23's other fics. Highly recommended!

I appreciate the second! I've only seen her LotR fics--haven't checked out what other fandoms she writes in. But she's clearly a very good writer!
