What a day!

This was a day I was going to spend finishing up both art and a story for this month's challenges, so that I could post them without being late. I was also going to post some pics I'd been meaning to post ( Read more... )

I am so glad we have our home warranty! It costs us $40 a month, but it has more than repaid itself over the last six years, both in real things we needed fixed and in peace of mind. Unfortunately it doesn't cover outdoor things like the roots in the line.*sigh*

I finally got Photobucket to work by switching over from IE to Firefox.

Well, I didn't get my story done yet, either! But you know there's always time to be late, LOL!

On top of that I twisted my knee sometime that day. Had to work yesterday, but got off early. I am hoping to rest and write today.

I finally fixed the problem by switching browsers.

Oh, dear! What an unexpectedly hectic day. Those are the worst.

I just checked PB. The last two times I went there, for some reason it had logged me out. No problem with that today. There is a banner on my main album page telling about checking out new features, but no pop-up.

Yes--"unexpectedly hectic" describes it perfectly!

I finally solved the PB problem by switching browsers. Apparently the new version of PB doesn't like IE.

We have a home warranty--so that covered the washing machine leak. No such thing, though, as general plumbing insurance, so for the outside problem with the drains we will have to fork out the bucks.

I'm just glad that he thinks that the immediate problem is OK until spring.
