Very entertaining. I liked that Merry refused to play and also that Sam heeded the warning.

I'm not sure why Merry wouldn't play, but it seems Frodo wanted to. And yeah, I can see Sam heeding it-- it's good old folk wisdom after all! LOL!

Ah, Pippin's widsom is often overlooked. I loved that Frodo stopped to play with him and that Aragorn agreed that what Pippin claimed could be true.

I could just see Pippin remembering it, and wondering. And Frodo is often indulgent to Pippin's whims-- I think he liked remembering childhood for a moment as well.

And Aragorn would know-- after all, RL nursery rhymes often have actual events behind them.
