Thank you so much! Esmeralda Brandybuck is a favorite character of mine, even though all we know of her in canon is that she was Merry's mum, and that her father-in-law seemed fond enough of her to call her "dear". But I base her on how the lads she raised or helped raise turned out: exceptional, all three of them. So she must have been exceptional too!
