Lovely to see this up, and quite a gripping new addition to the story! How far back is this again? I think perhaps we have just met someone of considerable importance...
Arador is, of course, Aragorn's grandfather, and Argonui his *great* grandfather. And little Ar'thorn, is naturally his father.
The other names are OCs. Unfortunately we were not given names for Aragorn's paternal great-grandmothers, or his grandmother on his father's side. We do have his *maternal* grandparents, Dirhael and Ivorwen, *grin* and his mother Gilraen of course. So I had to make up names for them. Thankfully, surgicalsteel directed me to a great site for that!
I too was wondering about the time that this story takes place. I had forgot that Trotter and Arathorn would be relatively close in age. You are doing incredible things with this story. I can't wait to see where it is going.
Well, of course one of the sons of the Old Took would be familiar with the attending chaos of a mother giving birth, LOL! but they *were* all strangers to him, so that made it a bit difficult and awkward.

I liked Ar'thorn asking Trotter to play with him, so cute.

Very, very cute chapter---I loved the ending. And I suppose Trotter is now getting to see, firsthand, Arador's family that he had wondered about.
