Spring is here. My rosebush has bloomed--there are those who know what that means to me! Thank you!

It is. The storm did not destroy the flowers. Azaleas, dogwood and redbud have been in bloom for weeks, fuller than ever.

An alternative place for your poem would be as Sam and Frodo pass the statue of the king on the road to Mordor ... and the sun comes out and illuminates his crown of white flowers. A lovely poem, a ray of sunshine, and hope.

That actually is what I first thought of when I saw it: a tangle of downed trees in a ditch, and absolutely *crowned* with a flowering vine! Just beautiful! I keep meaning to put my camera in the car, so I can take a pic before the blooming stops...

Ah...simple poem, but full of imagery.
I've got tulips coming up in random places now, as I
tend to plant without regard to color and then be surprised. :)
