[Cheria was just sitting on her bed, reading a book of Christmas tales, when the explosion happened. It was rather hard to miss something like that. Not just because it was loud, but because Tiger Festival, who happened to be dozing next to her, jumped in fright and dove underneath the nearest wardrobe.

She doesn't waste any time in striding towards the door and pulling it open to peer into the hallway, only to greet a mix of blinding glitter and bright lights.]
