Much of what I read in the major US SF magazines leaves me cold - so cold, in fact, that I skip most stories after reading about a page. (I'm still catching up with what's happening in contemporary SF, but I have read an awful lot of the stuff over the years.) So here I am on the treadmill with the September 2015 issue of Analog

I don't suppose you can loan me the Spinrad somehow? Seems to be impossible to purchase a single issue of things these days, not to mention Christmas postage.

I'll put the issue aside for you. I got Jon to grab a few magazines for me during his OS trip this year. I'm not sure which are available as an e-subscription these days - I've switched from paper to electrons for "Locus". If necessary I'll print out just the reviews to read on the treadmill!
