Though Eames, admittedly, doesn't dislike this place as much as he did when he first arrived, that doesn't make him especially fond of it. His problems with it remain the same - the fact that too much about it doesn't make sense, that it leaves him questioning the one thing he'd always prided himself on never needing to question - but it does, at

"Maybe," she says sliding onto the stool next to his. She isn't dressed to impress because this isn't that sort of place. Felicia knows when and where she should make an effort and when she should just stick with what she's got.

Mostly because what she had wasn't all bad.

"Depends on the day. Fortunately you have picked the right one."

"Glad to hear it," Eames replies with a short laugh, turning slightly on his barstool so he can angle himself towards her. Even without being dressed up, she really is gorgeous, and he'd liked her from the start, making her exactly the kind of company he could use. Being here prevents a good deal of boredom, but this makes it even better. "What'll you have?"

"The drink that closest resembles a gin and tonic." Felicia gives the bar an amiable slap, enjoying the pretense that this is something normal. Normal people out for drinks all the time, meet casual acquaintances and don't talk about the bad, bad way of life.

This she can do. But she never doubted that.

"Mm, good choice," Eames says, head tilting to the side as if considering that. He takes a sip of his own drink, one hand staying curled around the cool glass when he sets it back on the bar, though his gaze never leaves her. She's someone he hasn't quite figured out yet, but he likes that. It's a challenge. There aren't enough of those around here. "So what brings a girl like you to a place like this?"
