I’ve spent the better part of a week not blogging. Originally, this week of non-blogging tested my writing ability. If I could write something interesting or creative without having to resort to the media, politics, or religion would be an excellent indicator. Instead, I couldn’t write. sometimes before i can write an entry, i type out the alphabet and a thousand other random sentences to get into the swing of using words.
other days i just give in, and write the very basics.

i'm looking forward to reading more

I've done the random sentences which turn into thoughts which ultimately turn into a paragraph; it really helps to build my thoughts and then my writing. Basics, I've done those, I just don't feel like I've completed what I intended to write.

Creativity is temporarily stifled by having kids and a family. (-: I don't know about you, but by best ideas and thoughts come to me either when I'm half asleep or out doing something entirely unrelated to writing and miles away from any access to a pen or computer.
And, well, by the time I get to one, I have forgotten the best parts of my brilliant ideas. (-: ha ha

90% of all my thoughts come during the minutes before I fall asleep or while driving to and from work. The other 10% are those thoughts that occur while living my life. You're right about kids and family, they can make it quite difficult.
