Bad adventures in the kitchen

I just burned my finger on the frying pan and it hurts so badly right now.  That happened earlier this afternoon.  I tried to spice up some Raman noodles which turned out to be a disaster.  I tried to spice up some cooked pasta with home made Alfredo sauce in the microwave...another disaster.  Why can't cook a simple meal today?  The cooking gods

when i came back early from winter break, i was cooking some tator tots. not only did i set of the smoke alarm (which thankfully isn't nearly as bad as the dorms) but i also burnt my thumb. then i couldn't figure out how to work the ice maker, so ended up using this who knows how old bag of peas as an ice pack.

the cooking gods and goddesses don't let me do much. currently i am trying to find some new recipees and my mom won't help because she says i'm too much of a picky eater. so besides the cereal and sandwiches, it's also salad and things in the microwave. and tator tots. tator tots i can manage, just not when i get the oven mitt wet and forget when i use it ten minutes later.

glad to know i am not alone. at least i didn't have anything blow up while i poured milk for my ceral this morning.
