so when making icons, how do you go about the texting? what i mean is how/where do you get fonts you end up using? i have some bases i want to text up but the font part is a bit difficult

An excellent resource me thinks but read the copyright like 'For Personal Use' or 'Public Domain' or something like that. I usually though stick with fonts that I am fond of. Good luck with your creativity and icons.
