Wow, I love this. XD Wish I had found it sooner actually, lol - I love the interaction between Sunstreaker and Sideswipe throughout the chapters (has just read all four of them) and Hound's reactions are perfect. ^^ I really hope you update soon! <3

So glad you're continuing this! I love that you took on such an usual pairing, and that we're getting to see actual relationship development. (But then that's one of the things I love about pretty much all of your writing, lol.)

I'm not sure if you did this on purpose or if there isn't actually anything different and it's the nature of the chapter itself making it really stand out to me, but if felt like the sentences this time were more broken up than your usual. It's probably because Hound is trying to figure things out that made the writing feel almost like it's second-guessing itself. There were lots of fragments, lots of sentences interrupted internally, lots of thoughts kind of butting into each other. It fits.

And unusual pairing, yes--but eeee, it's totally my new OT3. Bwhahaha, I am so crazy but it just kind of works for me I guess? All my favorite pairings are just total crack. So glad y'all put up with me! *loves*

As for relationship development--well. Um. You'll hate me next chapter? XD I am of the "build-it-up, break-it-down, rebuild" school of relationships (in fic). So. Uh. :D?

And what you're picking on is at least partially intentional! I was really trying to get the "awkward" across--and the conflictedness, yeah. Partially, it's just how I write too, I think--I mean, it's certainly how I answer comments, as I am so clearly demonstrating. DX But yes, in part I was trying to make the text fit the thoughts. So thank you! So awesome that you picked up on that! <333

This is remarkably good, and I'm really enjoying the way you handle the characters. Hound's learning to speak 'Sunny' read very well, and Sideswipe's attempt in the hallway comes as a surprise but somehow still fits in the whole. Poor Hound; of all the very damaged mechs on the Ark, he's being chased by two of the worst. And I don't think he fully realizes it yet.

Thanks for sharing this, and I hope that life and the muses allow for another update soon.

I am still working on this story--it's taking a while, but I'm still plugging away. My muse has turned a corner, and I just finished the last chapter--it should be up in a few days at most. Assuming you're still interested, of course! I know it's been forever.

But yes, poor Hound. He's fumbling his way through the dark, and it is an angry dark. An angry, confused dark--Sunstreaker is going to be so very, very lucky when they finally figure it out, I think. <3 (That...will take a while, though. DX Oh, Sunstreaker--even a saint would have trouble with you.)

...They were totally going mother-hen on him during the battle. XD Sunstreaker is so very, very unused to caring--and he hasn't really figured out that "not as good a fighter as him" doesn't necessarily equal "totally incompetent." Oh, Sunstreaker.
