Oooo, you picked up on Scavenger's tail wrapping around Ratchet's leg! I just love that bit, it's just so him, you know? XD All touch-feely and clingy and kind of sneaky about it sometimes and adorable. And Ratchet's so much fun to write right now, with his changing feelings and the confliction and everything! (Okay, maybe I'm a bit too excited about this fic right now. ^_^; That's always possible...)

Scavenger's one of my favorites, too--top 3, in fact. ^_^ (After Mixmaster and Bonecrusher, but they both come into their own a little bit later on. XD) So he shows up a lot--it helps that he's a lot more friendly than some of the others, and that he shows up more often.

Which is the same reason why he's the one to approach Ratchet in this chapter! He's also kind of shameless, that's the other reason. XD

But I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the chapter! I'm working on the rest, and it should be up pretty soon--we're getting to the exciting part! And I'll have more time once my summer break starts, of course.

Thank you! And sorry to spring something on you--I thought I'd warned for it, but maybe not? ^_^; But natural is good! It's what I'm going for, in fact--I like to write romances where the relationship is more an extension of the friendship than it is anything else. ^_^

Thank you again! This really means a lot to me--the most important thing to me when I'm writing a romance, even (especially?) one as convoluted as this one, is that it feel natural, not contrived or artificial or anything like that, so--thank you!

Ooo, I agree! (Well, of course--I did write it like that. XD) But to me, it needed to be a Constructicon who would make the first move, since Ratchet's so torn--plus, he's got years of working closely with mechs he's repairing, when it would absolutely not be okay for him to get involved with them, so that's almost habit, and then he's just kind of bad at recognizing what he needs. XD
