Aya-chan didn't remember ever taking Ran to the ice cream shop in the Nexus, so she found it strange when Ran asked her to meet him there. It wasn't the kind of place he would go to on his own. The feeling she gets when she sees Ran and Kakyou sitting together at a booth is the opposite of surprise. She smiles at them both, and goes to join them.((

Kakyou returns the smile, offering her a bite from the sundae he has in front of him.

"We needed to talk to you."

"Sounds ominous. So you chose to bribe me with ice cream? Good move."

She leans forward to lick the spoon.

Aya pushes a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream her way.

"It's not bad news. I don't think you will think it's bad news."

[broken_dreaming]

"She won't think it's bad news," Kakyou says, a tiny bit wryly. He remembers things like embarrassing conversations with Yuuko and Aya-chan! He swirls his spoon in a little melted ice cream for a moment.

"Aya and I are..." Kakyou really isn't sure what to call it, but finally settles for, "involved."
