Yeah, Mary got Pikachu as well.

The second time I went through it, I got Charmander. But I really prefer Machop for in-game reasons... SO much stuff is weak to fighting early on!

And here I am, being wistful and staring at the 5th anniversary cast pic from PW! and wishing we could somehow jumpstart it using Reg-Gigas as the base. But the NG is pretty much dead and no one's there anymore... and the only other conceivable way to do it is a forum or something. And that's just too much of a headache to even THINK about.

It'd even work into the continuity well, given the OAV thing with the OTHER golems. >< Grah...
