Just a note: I'm not putting this entry behind a cut because of any kind of "triggers". I'm not going to sugar-coat a single thing I'm about to say because I think it's time we stop acting like sexual molestation is something that people need to be embarrassed about. The only people who need to be embarrassed are the sex offenders.

I don't think her parents were exactly stable when it came to making any decisions regarding Lena or Grace and regular sexual discovery versus what was actually going on.

1. Lena Dunham admitted in her book that she molested her sister.
2. The only reason that she's running to Huffington Post and pulling this mea culpa B.S. is because the public didn't have the reaction she expected. Lena Dunham says things for shock value without thinking about the consequences.

I'd encourage you to look up NY state penal law re: FORCIBLE TOUCHING. It's EXACTLY what Lena did to Grace. However, a victim still has to lodge a complaint. NY statute of limitations states that a victim abused as a minor has until their 23rd birthday to report. That means Grace has until January 28, 2015. I hope she comes to her senses before then or it will be too late.

All that story in HP is is a recap and her and her sister's tweets. They do say her story in the book was "twisted into something sinister". Not sure why you pointed out this one.

I'm so depressed over what I read about that horrible person
I hate even worse that people defend her. She's a criminal and a terrible person to do those things
