"But I'm A Comedian!"

Bill Maher is stooping to new lows to defend his remarks about Sarah Palin in comparison to remarks made by Rush Limbaugh about professional activist and globe-trotter Sandra Fluke.

Simple, this means that Maher, and anyone who defends him, is a monstrous hypocrite.

Basically, Maher seems to be arguing that the word 'slut' is not in and of itself a bad one. The morality or immorality apparently comes from who uses the word, and on whom. Pretty convenient, actually. And which party is allegedly the enemy of women? Or do conservative women just not count? Rhetorical question, I know.

Or to really boil it down to its most basic form, "It's different when my side does it!"

All this will eventually do is defang the word slut, much as the Obama administration, with its constant (over)use of crying racism at any dissent, has lessened that word significantly.

I just wish more people would catch on -- Maher is basically making excuses to spew the very hatred he and those he agrees with politically condemn others for. It's so damn simple! Either the word is hateful and shouldn't be used at all, or it isn't.

Thanks for posting.
