Death Row Inmate Wants to Donate Organs

Concerning this previous post, it seems a man on death row in Oregon for the murder of his wife and three children is fighting to donate his organs after his execution. He's even offered to give up his appeals in order to do it, but the request has been denied by state corrections officials ( Read more... )

So freakin' stupid! That prisoners organs could save the lives of several people if he donated!

They're worried about going the way China does -- shoot 'em, chop out the organs, willy-nilly.

But if it was a female Inmate on death row that wanted to have an abortion I betcha they would have no problem with that. Go figure

Yep. They also seem to have no problem with rapists getting plastic surgery or a child rapist getting gender reassignment surgery. But murderers who want to donate their organs to give someone else a chance at life? That's a moral and ethical issue!
