You are probably correct. It sounds right to me.

Meanwhile, Christine and her friend the doctor are going to be in Texas for Christmas, meeting his parents. His family is mostly Jewish by birth but they don't even think about it, and they celebrate Christmas like anyone else. Then the happy couple will fly up to State City for a visit. They'll stay in a motel: less awkward for everyone.

Christine tells Andy she is still way torn. It's clear that this guy is a catch, in that he has a stable career and makes good money and treats her right, but she does not know if she can learn to love him, and she is worried that if they ever have a real fight, he will weaponize her past. Andy does not know what to say but he will probably meet this fellow next weekend.
