Waxing non-lyrical and seasonal (?) fruit

I've been having trouble with my hearing recently. I'd noticed that I want to turn the volume up higher on various things. And intermittently the hearing in my left ear would cut out entirely - particularly in the shower or in bed. Er, what? I know they're Autumn-fruiting, but the middle of November is really a bit much.

Mine are still good, too. The grapes are over, though.

I had my ears waxed last year sometime, and like you didn't know they still did it. Made a massive difference - everything was so LOUD! afterwards until I adjusted.

Cool. Hope I get that effect - sounds like the aural equivalent of the thing I get when I put on a new set of glasses/contacts and suddenly the world is terribly sharp-edged and hard-focused.

They don't do it very often, because sticking things in your ears prompts the creation of wax, and sticking a syringe full of water is no exception. However, if you can get rid of that clod of wax and then keep an eye on your ears* you'll probably be okay.
