Pain meds

I really need to take the pain meds sooner.  It's taking the oxycodone a while to knock down the incision pain I allowed to grow and intensify while going through papers and filing.   It must be an hour later and they still hurt.  Maybe it's time to take a second pill

Thank you Gayle. It turns out my incision pain is complicated by the previously unknown fact that I am allergic to the glue the surgeon used to suture my incisions together. Very nasty, burning, red, swollen reaction... and I can't remove the stuff, at least not all of it, not until the incisions are sufficiently healed. Well, that's what I get for having such sensitive skin!

I am healing however, and this, too, will resolve.
