tl;dr my former employer, Dollfair International, has essentially disappeared with $11,000 worth of merchandise and refunds, and a lawsuit has been filed against her. I feel sick...

Eee, yikes... Well, $11,000 is likely mostly made up since you were there, so it's doubtful you had anything to do with it.

That woman will end up getting burned.

Oh, that is all since April. She lied to customers and continued taking orders despite knowing of legal issues with the makers and repeated requests to stop taking orders, and spent the last five months lying to every customer and missing deadlines. This comes as absolutely NO surprise to me, having actually worked there even if only for a few months. I got to hear what she really thought of her customers when not speaking with them, I saw how she kept her dolls, and I saw how she ran her business. It just makes me sick that I ever associated my name with that woman, and I honestly hope she loses everything.

Yeah... I remember when you got canned from that place. I think it was getting canned anyway... in either case you seemed upset, but also relieved upon leaving... at least she didn't drag you down with her.

I quit, I was never fired. I managed to say so before she could tell me I was not wanted. After the way we were treated by her during that weekend, I was definitely relieved to have left.

Sending an e-mail to the person who's organizing the crusade against her and offering whatever assistance I can. I do happen to live right down the street from the studio, and I have no problem stopping by and seeing exactly what is going on.

I'd been following it on and off for a few months, but last night I stumbled across the thread and heard that she'd literally stopped ALL contact with customers, and that a lawsuit was being filed... Karma's a bitch, and she's had it coming for a long time now. I just feel so awful for all the people who got caught up in her lies.

I will DEFINITELY be following things closely now. I've even been thinking about offering my assistance, even though I doubt I could do much at all. The shop is quite literally right down the street from my parent's house.

Wow, is the shop still up and running like there's nothing wrong? That's kind of sick and bizarre, really. It's not like a lawsuit of that nature isn't serious business.
