Thanks! This being my first foray into the Merlin fandom in any medium, I'm glad that everyone here is so nice. Especially Yue who was okay with me posting this since I had to crib off her gorgeous Gwen picture in order to follow that little plot in my head.
Haha, oh, I have about 3-5 other steampunk drafts that still need to be refined in my sketchpad. If I get around to finishing them, I'll post them. It's funny. Little ficlets just keep popping into my head and instead of words, drawings pop out. I have no idea where it's coming from.
Hehe, yeah. I love the concept of a metal dragon, so I thought I'd translate that into her racer. I can't decide if it's a car or a bike, but the idea is that the Racer has two wheels in the back and one in the front, with a wheel to turn. And she kinda has to lean back when she sits down, stretching her legs out in front of her to hit the gas.
But yeah, I made her happy because when I was drawing her, I was thinking that this is the moment where she just finished testing it out, it was a successful test and now she's totally confident and ready to challenge Arthur to a race (or is he afraid she'll beat him like she did when they were kids? heheheh).
Thanks for the kind words! I like the buckles the best myself, perhaps even more than the hair. :)
