you have no idea how much I like this fic
it feels so real, that brotherly relationship between the members and that unique and not easy to qualify relationship between Hyuk & Hae...
I don't know why but it made me teary especially this line:
"Hyukjae can’t make out smiles and he feels like he’s just left a part of himself behind. "

I'm so glad this felt real to you. With this fic I wanted it to seem like it would be plausible that this could happen to them. Hae & Hyuk's can be kinda hard to define and that's the feel I wanted this to have.

B-but what happened to Leeteuk? It's sad to think that one day, Super Junior might separate (heaven forbid!). I like the relationship the members have between one another, precious, but not easily put into words. And it's interesting how you made Hyukjae not as in sync with Donghae as everyone thinks. To part 2!

Leeteuk would be in the army for the time frame of this fic. Sad to think about it but it's reality ;;. I rarely write about the members but in this fic I felt it important to describe how the dynamics between them work. And sometimes I feel like it would be kind of hard to understand Donghae, even for someone who is so close to him.

I know what you mean about stories post suju. They're sad and bittersweet but so interesting how people paint what their lives afterward.
