Aibou, I'm going to conduct an experiment. I've located some magnesium in the sciences building, and apparently it burns at nearly a third of the temperature of the sun. It also burns underwater. Would you like to watch?

These are two entirely separate situations, aibou.

One produces fire, the other burns. Though together the result would likely be quite dramatic, considering.

It is just an experiment, and the components in that building are for conducting such. And I will be careful.

Yes, on both subjects.

Though apparently it also burns underwater, and therefore you should be certain you know how to put it out should you start a fire with it.
