Resolutions Revisited: January
I know this is about four or five days early, but yesterday I finished writing on Welt am Draht and finally had the long-awaited appraisal, so it feels as if 2009 is over. My December to-do list:
- read and comment on article for journal
- write and deliver six four three lectures
- mark thirty-five two horror essays
- second mark ten audiences essays

On Resolutions
I am torn about New Year Resolutions, if only because I'm bad at carrying them out - and it feels like setting yourself up for the fail. My experience at work of life being increasingly determined by Intended Learning Outcomes and so forth mean that there is more focus on the one thing that you did not do rather than the nine hundred and ninety ( Read more... ) -

My plan is to try and watch an sf film a day for as long as I can - with a mix of 1950s films for teaching, and 1970s for research. Resolutions
A number of people seem to be posting a New Year's Resolution for 2008 meme - which strikes me as being a little bit late in the day. On the other hand, resolutions made in advance are all about the fail so:
