A day off, although I did have a couple of hours reading Shikasta. Odd, and a little round the houses. I wonder who coined "space fiction" and when. Shall look up. I think I liked Shikasta so much on first reading, because I was working in civil service. Looking back on it, the galactic overlords may have had their program generally under better control than the usual bureaucracy in this neck of the woods.

Hey, I wrote a piece on The Marriages Between Zones Three, Four, and Five for the local clubzine, back when it had literary pretensions, may have copies stashed... wonder what I said? probly entirely different from what I'd make of it now.
