Some perverse choices here - and because it's novels, it's hardly the best Sherlock Holmes. Read, unfinished, hated.  I make 45 of about 145/146.

And I've read more than twice as many of these (28) than I have the Love selection. And seen 42 of them as films.

I count 36 screen adaptations - counting 39 Steps as one not three, and so forth.

Oh I see. I'm coming at these posts backards.

Twenty of these, and I read a completely different James M Cain but I forget the title. And a different load of Dorothy Sayers. And no Elizabeth Goudge (?Inspector Lynley).
