“Then why, exactly, has your father been glaring and looking down his nose at me all night like I was some sort of bug that needed to be squashed?”
“He always has that look! It doesn't mean anything emotionally. It has something to do with his... liver.”
“Sure...”
“Now come on, let's get back in there before my parents think you have something against them.”
