Thanks... so glad you liked it. I don't really know where it came from... I was clueless where to go with the story and the 'pop' there it was. If I can figure out how I'll keep it going :)

That's exactly what would happen, yes! And Hermione being who she is, she wouldn't let it go until she'd managed to find out the truth. Which...ahem...would be a whole other, very intriguing story (*shamelessly hinting!*)...one I would love to read!
