Thank you, thank you, thank you! You've chosen my favourite prompt and written a brilliant story :-)

I love your Draco -- you've perfectly caught his brittleness, and then added a good dose of paranoia, which, of course, turns out not to be paranoia at all. (I love the emotional moment when he casts the Lumos Charm). And then there's your Hermione, torn between not wanting to indulge Draco's fantasies, and yet finding herself believing him.

I love the machine -- snake-like! How very appropriate!

You've nailed all the little details that make the story so rich -- Azkaban, the half-way house -- the perfect job for Luna! -- the Slytherin dungeons, and the Forbidden Forest. My favourite moment is when Hermione sees the Death Eaters: wraith-like figures bend low over the silvery body of the majestic animal, growling and slurping. They're like the Walking Dead! It's a truly chilling description. And I'm left wondering what will happen in the next few moments -- will the Death Eaters spot D & H, and what will happen if they do?

Thank you

Riveting. Shame it wasn't longer, and ended so enigmatically. I want to wrap myself in a cocoon of blankets, hug a cup of hot cocoa, and read a novel sized version of this. Love it.

Riveting indeed, and it definitely left me wanting more. Brilliant.

a very compelling read! the thought of horcruxes of other DEs is really disturbing--but makes sense. i hope you'll continue to write this; curious to know just how hermione and draco neutralize the threat! and how they finally restore the slytherin common room. and i LOVE your luna and her mission!

You are so good at delivering the blow at the end. More DE using horcruxes is quite disturbing but very likely, I remember I've read it once before in a Dramione.

I am glad Hermione witnessed the moment of them drinking the unicorn blood because that is the kind of proof nobody can ignore.

So now they need to find horcruxes again to eliminate the danger.. and I guess veritaserum doesn't work on these un-deaths. Sequel! sequel! sequel!
