As I said before, I really liked Draco's angst in this -- he's still quite self-centred, but battered by the war and its aftermath, and losing his hair is the final blow! And Hermione's clever and compassionate, but a little bit clueless when it comes to reading his emotions.

I love this line:

“It’s a date,” she said and closed his file.

That's the real ending! But then you give us official ending, which is realistic, slightly downbeat but really hopeful.

Oh my gosh, Draco losing his lovely coif? The tragedy! Haha!

Lovely take on the prompt! I love Hermione's professionalism, but moreso the fact that Draco just had to ask:

“Miss Granger,” he began, feeling slightly silly for bringing up their past, but knowing that he had to ask: “Can I trust you not to switch my test shampoo for a hair removal product?”

Perfectly in-character and completely understandable coming from Draco. Ah, Draco angst. :P

Also, the progression of their "relationship", while rather slow, is also realistic and tells of more to come. Wonderfully executed. :)
