Guh! This was great!

I was particularly taken with your Draco. Not only for being truly Slytherin with his manipulation, but also the way he verbally lashes out when hurt. I found that very insightful as a characteristic. Often, Draco is written as mean just for the sake of being mean. I like that you have him doing it more as a defense mechanism.

The build up of tension was wonderful. As it was getting closer to the end and Hermione was starting to come around, my heart ached as Draco started to retreat.

The use of "the potion made me do it" bookend was also something I thought was great. I love when things come full circle.

Lovely job. I enjoyed it immensely. :)

Goodness, this was sheer brilliance! You write so lovely, as well. I adore so many passages in this story, that it's impossible to say which were my favourites. Certainly beginning the story with a potion mishap and ending it with one was wonderful circular plotting.
