Hi ningloreth :-)

I haven't done this exchange before, so I was just familiarizing myself with the rules from previous rounds. Will the timeline for this one be about the same as for previous ones, i.e. about three months of writing time?

Also, will the same restriction be in place with regard to betas, i.e. that one's beta can't be somebody who is also a participant in the round?

Hi! Yes, I intend to follow the format and rules that kalina_blue has already established -- the writing period will be approximately the same, and everything must be kept hush-hush, so writers will have to use a beta who isn't on the participant list.

Yes -- the first twenty sign ups will take part in the challenge. If we get any extras, I'll ask them if they want to go onto a 'potential pinch-hitter' list.

TBH, I'm more worried that we'll have trouble filling the twenty slots than that we'll be over subscribed!

Seriously?? Why is that? I would think that there are several out there (myself included) who have just come down from the DMHGFicExchange and the HV Anniversary Challenge, itching for another project/challenge.

That really is a gorgeous banner! =) I'm excited for the exchange-- hopefully I get to be a part of it! But out of curiosity, why only 20 participants??

TBH, I don't know! I've just taken the community over from its founder, kalina_blue, and I'm following her rules. But I can see that the pairing business gives the mod extra work, especially if anyone drops out, so maybe she decided that 20 was as many as the mod would be able to handle.
