Round 4 Survey!
Thank you for taking the time to fill out this poll! We greatly appreciate it. Round 4 was a huge success, and we'd like your input on the next round of Dramione Awards.
For the poll:
[1] The new system of seconding involved voters sending in a comprehensive list of seconds. This list contained any and all fics they believed should make it to final voting. The number of seconds were tallied, and the top fics in each category advanced to the final voting.
[2] In previous rounds, we have required only ONE second per story to advance to voting. We then ran a preliminary round for all categories with more than six nominated stories. This preliminary round whittled the field, and then Final Voting decided the winners.
I hope the question about Round 5 (question 6) isn't confusing, but I'm sure it probably is. Basically what I'd like to know is, what, if any, cut off date would you want for a "Best of 2008" round? For example, if a story was started in 2007 and completed January 1, 2008, would that story be eligible for this round of awards? Or, should the story's "peak" be considered as the basis for eligibility? Or should it be based on the amount of content posted in 2008 vs. 2007?
All stories, except fics in the Best WIP category, MUST have been completed in 2008.
NOTE: For question 6, we, the mods, will provide a list of ALL eligible fics for this round. So once the decision is made, you won't have to worry about whether or not the fic(s) you wish to nominate will be eligible.
