Thanks! I'm so glad it's well received, because man, writing at the moment is like flogging a dead horse.

I love this! So much. While it was sort of darker, it was still great! And it wasn't all that dark. it was like watching Buffy!

Yeah, you can so tell I've been watching Buffy and Angel all year!

this was beyond words perfect. the depth, the emotion and the reality of war painted in each stroke of dialogue yet at the end there's the glimmer of hope amidst the pain.

Utterly brilliant read! It was so different (in a good way) to read this snarky Draco burning Hermione's Christmas cards while chipping away her facade. I mean that he took her words/reactions and told her the reality of it all so she could face it properly.

I adored the little turn around at the end where he hurts her with his words but then clarifies what he means. It's like he redeems himself in the end.

Thanks for sharing!

This was a darker, sadder tale than expected, but I loved that it ended with a hopeful note. The death of Molly and her little grandson made me tear up and the line "I wrote one for every stupid, dead Death Eater from our year was sad as well because I was wondering who and how many had died. They're just kids!!

The characterization, action, and emotions were spot on perfect and I loved this.

Glad you liked it and didn't mind the darkness too much! Merry Christmas :)
