I am not sure about police detectives , but I happen to know a fic where Draco and Hermione are colleagues and have to solve a case .
It is called Femme-Fatal by cleotheo .

Thanks for this. I’ll check it out. I thought the fic I was looking for was written by damnedscribblingwoman but when I checked her AO3 page, it wasn’t there. Perhaps I’d remembered wrongly.
